The Channel Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving new to bank deposits and increase customer relationship among the existing card customer base through planning and execution support.  We are looking to you to bring both your strategic work to inform future marketing as well as executional coordination and oversight to help meeting near term goals.

The Details:

  • Location: Remote but must be in the NYC area because you will have to go into the office (Lower Manhattan) as needed for meetings.
    • Full time (40 Hours a week)
  • Duration: ASAP until the end of the year with the possibility to extend longer term

What you’ll do:

In this role, you’ll work closely with our financial services client to manage the execution of various retail to cards channel marketing campaigns.  You will collaborate with cross functional partners to ensure accuracy and compliance throughout the campaign execution, identify needs for process improvements and play an integral role in thought leadership throughout the marketing execution process.

Additionally, you’ll:

  • Partner with Retail Marketing Channel Teams to create a holistic, detailed, cause and effect view of past campaigns
  • Provide recommendations on new marketing opportunities, including under utilized populations or channels, offer mix, messaging or other to increase new account opening, funding rates and or funding levels
  • Supply thought leadership on the marketing execution process working closing with marketing planning and operations as well as other execution partners to identify opportunities for greater efficiency and impact.
  • Work closely with Retail marketing and supporting teams to ensure clear and accurate definition of campaign targeting requirements for monthly and quarterly campaigns
  • Address possible needs for increased controls when necessary to ensure all Retail to Cards program execution meets our client’s controls requirements
  • Lead management routines such as the weekly Retail to Cards marketing strategy calls that bring together key partners

Who you are: 

You are a Channel Marketing professional with experience in executing marketing campaigns for financial services companies with a solid understanding of campaign execution and compliance with a desire to showcase your strengths and expertise.

What you have:

  • Previous or current experience working for financial services companies
  • Minimum 7 years of consumer marketing experience, preferably in Retail banking, Cards or Consumer Services
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, detail oriented, multitaskers please apply!
  • Thrive when working under pressure and with the key ability to meet deadlines
  • Exhibit proactive capabilities, forward thinking to address issues before they arise.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred
  • Proven ability to prioritize work and projects
  • Accustom to working on multiple projects or campaigns simultaneously 
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to keep a sense of humor while working in a fast pace environment
  • Collaborate well cross functionally and are an enthusiastic team player
