Strong copywriting skills, with understanding of social media platforms and trends, ability to apply both analytical and creative skills to day-to-day tasks, fast yet thorough. Past experience in reporting is preferred but not required.

Job Description:
The Social Media Marketing Specialist will help develop and execute creative strategies for our Always-On campaign efforts. They will collaborate with internal and external agency partners to create content that not only drives business impact, but also aligns with our overarching social strategy.
 

Day-to-day activities include:

• Provide campaign management support and coordinate with Community Manager to ensure publishing strategy is executed
o Assist with social strategy, content creation (including always-on copywriting and creative direction), and media tactics
o Stay abreast of social media trends, rapidly changing technologies, and online competitor presences.
o Coordinate with Community Manager to ensure publishing strategy is executed
o Assist with Legal and compliance approval process
o Strong writing/editorial skills required to swiftly shepherd content through the legal approval process and offer constructive feedback on agency work

• The Ideal Candidate:
o Team player with an entrepreneurial spirit, ability and willingness to collaborate, advise and get hands dirty.
o Experience Microsoft Office Skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), basic Photoshop a plus but NOT required.
